According to Law no. 333/2003 regarding the protection of objectives, goods, values and the protection of persons, the responsibility of verifying the existence and compliance of the risk analysis for physical security rests with the Romanian Police.
In the situation where you do not have a physical security risk analysis drawn up, according to the legislation in force, the sanction of a fine from 5,000 to 10,000 lei can be applied.
The obligation to conduct a physical security risk assessment applies to all companies engaged in economic activities that fall under the category of entities required by law to ensure the security of assets, valuables, and individuals. This includes, among others, commercial spaces, financial institutions, public institutions, and others.
